About
Helen van Hooft founded Spiritual Community Without Borders initially in 2019, as an outlet for herself to work. An international family move limited her own work opportunities. However, it quickly became evident due to an unexpected worldwide pandemic that there was a place for an international online platform for those wishing to understand, develop and explore their own spiritual nature and that of the spirit. It is also a platform for promoting and sharing the religion and 7 principles of Spiritualism.

Who We Are:
Helen van Hooft Founder
Helen van Hooft is an English medium, healer, intuitive coach and tutor, as well as public speaker, living in the Netherlands. She is a Certificate award holder of the Spiritualists’ National Union in Speaking and Demonstrating Mediumship. Helen is passionate that the foundation of all mediumship is healing and believes whole heartedly in empowering those who seek her service. She is also a devoted wife and mother of four Helen has been a Spiritualist since 2010 and considers it to be a way of life and mediumship to be a pathway of life long learning. From having a natural curiosity in holistic health and well being to successfully training in many holistic health and healing modalities to establishing her own Body, Mind and Spirit centres, Helen uses this knowledge and experience in her approach to her work and life. Volunteering and working in a Hospice as a Lead Complementary therapist, led her to become a fervent advocate of the Positive Death Movement. She is skilled in wellness coaching, energy healing, mediumship and intuitive arts development, self awareness and complementary therapy all delivered with a Holistic approach. Helen’s spiritual and intuitive nature is always delivered in a common sense manner with professionalism and passion, with a touch of light hearted humour!
Linda Gijselman Secretary
Linda is the owner of a residential care farm for mentally and physically disabled adults in the Netherlands. She is a mother and life partner. She has always been naturally creative and uses the world around her as an expression in her art. Linda and Helen met at one of Helen’s demonstration’s of mediumship in the Netherlands in 2019. From there steps were made from client to student to friends. Linda then offered her help in legalising Spiritual Community Without Borders into the foundation it is today. The rest as they say, is history!
Stefan van Hooft Treasurer:
Stefan van Hooft is an IT specialist and scrum master, and devoted husband and father. His technical skills are utilised often behind the scenes, so too, his natural ability to be simultaneously logistical, practical and creative. He is also known as the ‘poster boy’! However, it has to be said, like his skills, he will be found in his comfort zone, behind the scenes.
